Description

Gabbeh's were originally hand woven in southern Iran by tribal nomadic people. The tribe's people would be given cotton and dyed wool and allowed to weave with no particular design direction. This is how these incredible designs began, from simple stick people and animals to patches of colour.
Now we are having these hand-knotted in India using the same design concepts that are being improved by the use of graduation of colours and undyed natural wool's. Fine Gabbeh's are really exceptional in both looks and feel. A must see when visiting one of our locations.
